The BP Oil Spill - Planned or Not
9/11, Roswell, Ufo's all come up when speaking of cover ups and conspiracies. I have for many years been pulled into researching and finding out more than meets the eye in what goes on in the world we live in today. Now I'm not saying every conspiracy is the government trying to cover something up, some may actually just seem like conspiracies but have nothing more to them than a bunch of coincidences. One that has been on my mind for awhile now is the BP oil spill. My main goal is to open your eyes to see what could be happening and to find answers to questions that seem to be ignored or given short explanations that don't give us much information
The Southern United States which still has not fully recovered from Hurricane Katrina had another disaster in it's face when the Deep Horizon oil rig blew up on April 20th 2010. The Oil spill was one of the biggest environmental disasters that this world has seen and the thought that it could've been planned is quiet alarming. Before you think that would never happen thinking back to 9/11 nobody thought the government was capable of doing that yet most of the population believes information about 9/11 shows government incompetence to stop the events that occurred on that day and some believe they had a part in it.
One very troubling thing about the oil spill is what happened before the actual event. BP knew that the rig needed to be upgraded and that there was a malfunction that needed to be corrected. The whole thing was preventable but they didn't do anything to stop it. Maybe that is why months before the spill Goldman and Sachs sold 4 680 822 shares of BP. Which works out to be about $266 million in profits for selling before this whole mess. Not only Goldman and Sachs but also the man that would catch a lot of heat after the incident BP Chief Tony Hayward sold about one third of his holdings of BP just weeks before the disaster. Which helped him avoid losing 423,000 pounds when the stock plunged with the rig.
Eleven days before the spill Halliburton, yes the contriversial energy company that Bush and Cheney have ties to bought Boots and Coots, a large cleaning company for $240 million. Boots and Coots was then put in charge of conducting the cleanup. Following the spill Halliburton's profits increased 83%. The whole situation of Halleburton buying the cleaning company and contracting them to BP cleanup increasing their profits seems pretty fishy to me. Could this whole thing have been for money? So could all of this been planned for profit and money or to destroy the Gulf and get residents out of that area? I wouldn't put it past the government.
What do you guys think?
Hello World
I have been interested in conspiracies for a very long time now. It began with the events that took place on 9/11. Since that day my thought process about the world and government has changed. I used to just go along with everything that I was told on t.v. Now things are a little different. I take what i hear from the government and television programs with a grain of salt. It's opened my eyes to many things. Now I know some conspiracies are just way too far fetched. Some on the other hand are plausible. I even take a look at some crazy conspiracies just to see the way that others are thinking and see what kind of way they connect the dots through. With this blog I intend to take a look at conspiracies, modern day and in the past. Just trying to shed a little more light in to the things in this crazy world. Join me, comment if you have input, if you agree or disagree. Everybody has an opinon.
